In the only existing church and inserted in the bush, are found painted on the walls of the "imago Beatae sub appointments Virginis de Loreto, cum ex sidelines dextro sancto Cosma et Damiano sancto ex left."
The coincidence iconographic explains, thus, the introduction of the cult of the Acquaviva and the will of the people to appropriate it.

For a little over two centuries the beautiful statues send the faithful into a frenzy on 27 and 28 September, the days of festivities in their honor. The present church took his final connotation after the local project architect Antonio Curri and over time expand the current scope and splendor.
The visual theme is prevalent neo-classicism. On the left leaf from the top you can see the poor, the meek, those who mourn, and those who hunger and thirst for justice; swing on the right are the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers and the suffering.
The portal is decorated with the four moral virtues, while the medallions symbolize the theological virtues; five faces of men look at five faces of women: they are the anonymous representatives of the Church. In the upright position are depicted Matthew, Luke and Jeremiah, Isalia on the left is Mark John, Ezekiel and Daniel on the right.
In the lunette of the porch, Jesus is crucified between the Mother, St. John, St. Peter and St. Paul, Cosam and Damian, are bas-reliefs of the Master Rollo; His is the crucifix hanging on the central altar and the giant figures placed in the arms of the Church.
The altar of red porphyry, in the frontal front, announces the paschal mystery of Jesus, Death, Resurezione (among trulli) and the Ascension; the side panels depict the Annunciation and Pentecost, while back in the triptych, the artist Giuseppe Pirrone provides a summary of the celebration of the Second Vatican Council, where we recognize the Popes John XXIII and Paul VI, Athenagoras, the Cardinals Ottaviani, Tisserant. Happy golden mosaic inscription "Pascha immolatus east Cristus Exultabunt Cosam et Damianus Saints in glory exunte Vatican II", remember that Jesus sacrificed himself for us, that the altar is dedicated to Saints Medici and his erection perioodo corresponds to the completion of the work of the Second Vatican Council.
The frescoes in the apse reconstruct the martyrdom suffered by St. Cosmas and St. Damian until their ascent to heaven, are the local painter Francesco De Biase.
Other middle and large make even the largest houses of the Lord, testimoninaza of a cult started more than 363 years ago.
